I’m sorry this is more tedious than the one click purchase option on other upscale sites. This is more like a yard sale–bargain prices, changing inventory, and limited quantities.   You might be surprised at some of the unique items I have in my stash/hoard/collection!

******************************

Heirloom edgings, some French, some English.  1 yard minimum, no increments less than 1/2 yd.  All at least 90% cotton, 10% nylon, some 100% cotton.

E-20…$$1.00 per yard…1/4″ wide…copper

E-20 is so unique.  The color is just spectacular.  A friend used this lace as trim on an ivory linen ring bearer’s button on suit.  It was so lovely.  This lace will gather, but you lose the effect of the cordonnet.  It looks best, I think, flat.

E-2… $1.50per yard…3/4″ wide…white

E-2 This is another versatile lace, good for bonnets, dresses and more.  It was used on the Pink Diamonds pillow, the Zig Zag Bonnet, and other projects.

E-3… $1.50 per yard… 7/8″ wide… white

E-3 This intricate pattern was used on Courtney’s 1st Communion Dress and Judith Dobson Tea Dress   .  It is also suitable for boys as there are no flowers.

E-5… $2.20 per yard… 1″ wide… ivory

E-5 It looks almost like fine crochet and is a sturdy lace, good for baby blankets or items that will be laundered frequently.  This was used on  Butterfly Baby Blanketand Antique Tabletopper Reproduction   I usually reduce the header width by trimming between the two center horizontal threads.  With either a zig zag or pin stitch attachment, it holds up just fine.

E-6… $2 per yard… 7/8″ wide… white

E-6 With the floral pattern confined to the bottom edge, this pattern does not disappear into gathers.

E-7… $2.20 per yard… 1  1/4″ wide… white

An especially pretty edging, with pleasing contrast between the heavy moon flower edge and the airy dot stars above.

E-9 1 1/8″ wide, white, $1.60 py

E-9  I call this a conversion lace.  With careful trimming between what appears to be two rows of insertion, you get a pretty single insertion as well as an edge with the smaller insertion above it. Left at its 1 1/8″  width, it is lovely on collars, baby blankets or just about anything.

E-10… $1.50 per yard… 5/8″ wide… ecru

E-10   This is a good size and pattern for anything from infants to older children.  Also good for boys with no flowers.  See it on DIY Heirloom Upgrade

E-11… $1.50 per yard…3/8″ wide… ecru

E-11  Very, very sweet, detailed little edge, good for anything, especially babies.

E-13… $1.50 per yard… 3/4″ wide from line to edge… ivory

E-13  Swiss netting background.

E-14…$1.00 per yard…1 1/4″ wide…white

E-14   Pretty and sturdy, this English Cluny lace is great as an edge on polar fleece baby blankets or pillow cases. See the pink Fleece Lamb Baby Blanket edged with this trim.

E-15…$1.80 per yard…3/8″ wide…lt. ecru

E-15    Very sweet French edging.  When joined to finished edge with fine thread and needle, the header looks like entredeux.
