Tick-tock-tick-tock…..time is short.\u00c2\u00a0 But if I can squeeze out 30 minutes between now and the weekend, I am going to\u00c2\u00a0embroider two\u00c2\u00a0shirts like\u00c2\u00a0these, made by\u00c2\u00a0Judy Day for her grandchildren.\u00c2\u00a0They just make me smile and I’m certain they would have the same effect on others.<\/p>\n

It may not be too late for any of my grandchildren to turn over a new leaf, but it certainly will be too late for Alastair to wear the shirt by the time I mail it to him.\u00c2\u00a0 So perhaps Laurel and\u00c2\u00a0Robert will get\u00c2\u00a0some cute duds like these.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Judy confirmed that the sizable candy cane font is a true type font, capable of being added to fonts for Brother’s PEDesign, Babylocks’s Palette, and most likely, other\u00c2\u00a0software programs.Added to the lettering on the girls’ shirts are sprigs of holly which serve as substitutes for the dot above the lower case i.<\/p>\n

"Dear Santa, I can explain..."<\/p><\/div>\n

Last year, she made another set of cute shirts for her Jackson, Courtney and Kennedy. Using the Children’s Font from Designers Gallery, Judy flipped the s and p in order for the\u00c2\u00a0text to look even more juvenile.\u00c2\u00a0 These shirts carry the message, “Dear Santa, I can explain…….”\u00c2\u00a0 She has so many good ideas.<\/p>\n

I’ve just put the buttons and buttonholes in Alastair’s pants.\u00c2\u00a0 Now I’m having a\u00c2\u00a0big time making a dress for “Molly,” Laurel’s American Girls doll.\u00c2\u00a0 It\u00c2\u00a0 matches Laurel’s Christmas dress.\u00c2\u00a0 I can’t wait to see her reaction.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
