{"id":14344,"date":"2011-05-23T00:48:33","date_gmt":"2011-05-23T04:48:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/?p=14344"},"modified":"2011-05-25T03:14:56","modified_gmt":"2011-05-25T07:14:56","slug":"hooping-tip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/2011\/05\/23\/hooping-tip\/","title":{"rendered":"Hooping Tip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;d like to share with you\u00c2\u00a0one of the most helpful machine embroidery tips I have ever come across.\u00c2\u00a0 Somewhere it was posted on a sewing list, several years ago, though I can&#8217;t recall where.\u00c2\u00a0It is best demonstrated in person, but I hope you can figure it out from the pictures shown below.<\/p>\n<p>Many find hooping to be very frustrating because\u00c2\u00a0it requires\u00c2\u00a0that four pieces to be centered and positioned exactly.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 There are four pieces to stack:\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1. outer hoop<\/li>\n<li>2.\u00c2\u00a0 stabilizer<\/li>\n<li>3.\u00c2\u00a0 fabric<\/li>\n<li>4. inner hoop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For successful embroidery, all four\u00c2\u00a0pieces be in perfect alignment.\u00c2\u00a0 Here is an easy way to accomplish this.<\/p>\n<dl id=\"attachment_14347\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 310px;\">\n<dt class=\"wp-caption-dt\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/hooping4pieces.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-14347\" title=\"hooping4pieces\" src=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/hooping4pieces-300x283.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"283\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/hooping4pieces-300x283.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/hooping4pieces.jpg 1016w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/dt>\n<dd class=\"wp-caption-dd\">stabilizer, dishtowel, inner frame, outer frame, double sided tape<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<p><!--more-->\u00c2\u00a01.\u00c2\u00a0 Mark fabric for placement.
