What treasures we found!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_13710\" style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13710\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-13710 \" title=\"zNananurseryclosetcornervalance2brite\" src=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/zNananurseryclosetcornervalance2brite-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/zNananurseryclosetcornervalance2brite-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/zNananurseryclosetcornervalance2brite-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/zNananurseryclosetcornervalance2brite.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-13710\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">bluebird border, twig swag and valance<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We also hit barn sales, which is where I bought the\u00c2\u00a0vintage 1920&#8217;s \u00c2\u00a0sketch of a baby gazing at a bee.\u00c2\u00a0 Our home was built in 1926 so its vintage gave instant appeal, but it is charming irrespective of its time frame.\u00c2\u00a0 Another find was\u00c2\u00a0the hanging blue lamp which came from a very old farmhouse in Illinois.\u00c2\u00a0With all of our purchases, \u00c2\u00a0Suzanne&#8217;s van was loaded to the roof.\u00c2\u00a0 When we headed back to Florida, we could not have\u00c2\u00a0squeezed in\u00c2\u00a0a box of toothpicks.<\/p>\n<p>Yellow and blue seemed to be a\u00c2\u00a0pleasing and\u00c2\u00a0gender neutral color scheme so that was my starting point.
