I did not make this dress.\u00c2\u00a0 It was ordered from CiaoBebeBoutique and I love it. When I saw it posted on Pinterest, I found it to be irresistible.<\/p>\n

Vivian Rose, our toddler granddaughter, has big blue eyes and would be spectacular in this, I knew.<\/p>\n

Her blue eyes are exactly like her mother’s–not at all bat-like.<\/p><\/div>\n

But I can smock.\u00c2\u00a0 And I can embroider–and sew. \u00c2\u00a0 But I wanted it now.\u00c2\u00a0 So it arrived in the mail and now Vivian Rose is wearing it.\u00c2\u00a0 I have decided that I don’t have to make everything she wears.\u00c2\u00a0 Buying this dress freed me up to sew other things for her.<\/p>\n

Vivian Rose in her beloved pink Crocs. She loves them because she can put them on herself.<\/p><\/div>\n

The 100% cotton dress is very well made.\u00c2\u00a0 I shortened it considerably to her mother’s preferred length.<\/p>\n

Here she is wearing the dress at pre-school which she attends two mornings a week.\u00c2\u00a0 Vivian Rose is a very intense, busy little girl.\u00c2\u00a0 And cute as a button.<\/p>\n

I have no regrets or guilt for making this purchase.<\/p>\n

NANA FUN<\/p>\n

The grandchildren were all here last weekend to decorate gingerbread houses.\u00c2\u00a0 I tucked 5 yo grandson Alastair into bed, read him a story and then kissed him goodnight.<\/p>\n

“Good night, Alastair. \u00c2\u00a0 You must be very tired after that long drive to Nana’s house.”<\/p>\n

“No, I’m not tired.\u00c2\u00a0 I took two naps in the car.\u00c2\u00a0 Do you know why I could take two naps?”<\/p>\n

“No, why?”<\/p>\n

“Because I hate Jesus.”<\/p>\n

“What???\u00c2\u00a0 Why would you say you hate Jesus?”<\/p>\n

“Nana, I didn’t say I hate Jesus.\u00c2\u00a0 I said I ate Cheezits<\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0 A whole bag of them.\u00c2\u00a0 They made me sleepy.”<\/p>\n
