Because Vivian Rose is a rough and tumble little gal, Swiss flannel did not seem like a good choice for her diaper cover.\u00c2\u00a0 Not yet 2 years old, she recently was shimmying up a potted palm on the patio and fell to the ground.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 She took the fall about as well as Swiss flannel bloomers would have taken the climb.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_31911\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/bloomers.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-31911\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-31911 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/bloomers.jpg\" alt=\"bloomers\" width=\"640\" height=\"547\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/bloomers.jpg 640w, http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/bloomers-300x256.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-31911\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Monogram is from <a href=\"http:\/\/embroitique.com\/index.php?dispatch=products.view&amp;product_id=586#.VIaDccmMDe0\">Embroitique&#8217;s Fancy Monogram 1<\/a> collection.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After seeing its frequent use on Cheryle Cole-Bennet&#8217;s always spectacular projects, Embroitique&#8217;s <a href=\"The%20bloomers are white broadcloth trimmed with the same red gingham and heirloom lace.  As rough and tumble as\">Fancy Monogram 1<\/a> has become\u00c2\u00a0 my go-to alphabet. \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I was disappointed in my too-high placement of the lettering.\u00c2\u00a0 What was I thinking?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ME-it-cant-be1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-32158\" src=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ME-it-cant-be1.jpg\" alt=\"ME it can't be\" width=\"212\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Maybe it was the Christmas carol I was singing along with&#8212;<em>Angels We Have Heard on HIGH<\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0 Maybe if it had been <em>LOW (Lo) How a Rose E&#8217;er Blooming<\/em> the position might have been better.
