pleat at the bottom of each vinyl mesh compartment.\u00c2\u00a0 That allows the bag to expand in order to accommodate bulky\u00c2\u00a0 accessories like the walking foot.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This project was designed and taught by teacher extraodinaire Lyn Powers at my home-sweet-home sewing store,\u00c2\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sewing.net\/virtual-tour\/\">The Sewing Studio ,<\/a> just outside of Orlando.\u00c2\u00a0 I am so fortunate to live near enough to shop and learn there.\u00c2\u00a0 The all-day class was one of a series of 8 for owners of Brother&#8217;s Dream Machine and Babylock&#8217;s Destiny. <em>NOTE:\u00c2\u00a0 If you have an extra minute, you might enjoy the little story at the end of this post.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The bag is so useful!\u00c2\u00a0 It holds those miscellaneous, fabulous tools that go with today&#8217;s sewing machine.\u00c2\u00a0 Many of these do not fit in the machines&#8217; accessory cases and many require careful handling.\u00c2\u00a0 They really shouldn&#8217;t just rattle around loose in a drawer by the machine.\u00c2\u00a0 The batting offers protection to these valuable accessories.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_34753\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/bag-loaded-open-xx.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34753\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-34753 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/bag-loaded-open-xx.jpg\" alt=\"bag loaded open xx\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/bag-loaded-open-xx.jpg 640w, http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/bag-loaded-open-xx-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-34753\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Currently it is loaded with my walking foot, embroidery foot, and sensor pen with more to come.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The silvery cotton fabric was quilted with a serpentine stitch and a 6.0\/100 twin needle. \u00c2\u00a0 Alternate diamonds were stippled in the hoop with lime green thread.\u00c2\u00a0 Have you ever seen lime green velcro????\u00c2\u00a0 It was imported from France just for this class&#8211; but often came to the Orlando area to visit family.\u00c2\u00a0 And The Sewing Studio.<\/p>\n<p>When she was ready to retire to the Orlando area, she found a near perfect home with one draw back&#8211;it was 4 miles from The Sewing Studio.\u00c2\u00a0 She said she knew she could afford the house, but was not sure she could afford being that close to this sewing candy store.<\/p>\n<p>She bought the house anyway and said she spends waaaay too much time and waaay too much money at The Sewing Studio.\u00c2\u00a0 And she has no regrets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
