They are cute, for sure, but they are also amenable to a bit of a twist. I have used several designs and have always been pleased with the results.<\/p>\n<p>ME\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s <em>Princess of Quite a Lot<\/em>design was used on a laundry bag for a sweet coed, given as a going away momento as she left for college. A lovely clothes horse, she was well known for donning a fresh outfit several times a day. The university setting offered even more opportunities for wardrobe changes.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The<em> Princess of Quite a Lot<\/em> design, with the added twist &#8220;of Laundry,&#8221; added a bit of whimsy to a perfectly utilitarian item.\u00c2\u00a0 The monogram, on both the bag and the accompanying mesh basket, helped to reduce the likelihood that these personalized gifts would\u00c2\u00a0walk out of\u00c2\u00a0 the dormitory&#8217;s laundry room with some other coed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The\u00c2\u00a0letters \u00c2\u00a0for the monogram on both the laundry items and the quillow below\u00c2\u00a0is Viking&#8217;s Card #9 Heirloom Alphabet by Martha Pullen.\u00c2\u00a0 This is \u00c2\u00a0an oldie but a goody.\u00c2\u00a0 The rose was extracted from one of the letters and used to embellish the buttonholes in the laundry bag casing.<a rel=\"attachment wp-att-3773\" href=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=3773\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3773 aligncenter\" title=\"fleecePrincessquitealotclose\" src=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/fleecePrincessquitealotclose-300x226.jpg\" alt=\"fleecePrincessquitealotclose\" width=\"300\" height=\"226\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/fleecePrincessquitealotclose-300x226.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.janicefergusonsews.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/fleecePrincessquitealotclose.jpg 493w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve also sung the praises of\u00c2\u00a0 polar fleece throws or quillows a time or two, and yet I do so again. A decorative stitch was worked above it, around the pocket and throw portions of the quillow.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m in a rut with these polar fleece throws.
