From my observations, there is no conflict in the Day marriage and now\u00c2\u00a0Brad Garrett has\u00c2\u00a0suggested\u00c2\u00a0one of the reasons.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Brent has his pool table and bass boat,\u00c2\u00a0Judy has her sewing and embroidery machines.\u00c2\u00a0 Most importantly, they have each other, wonderful children\u00c2\u00a0 AND grandchildren!\u00c2\u00a0 It appears that they have everything they want.<\/p>\n

I doubt there is anything Judy Day cannot or will not embroider.\u00c2\u00a0 This pool table is just one more example of the beautiful, creative things she makes.\u00c2\u00a0 Her husband is an avid fisherman so the customization goes beyond the monogram.\u00c2\u00a0 Wouldn’t this make a great Valentine’s Day gift for your favorite guy?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The cover is made from heavy twill fabric.\u00c2\u00a0 It took awhile to find the right color, in the right fabric that was wide enough to cover the top so there would be no seams as I did not want a seam to detract from the embroidery.\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n

The drop is created with a separate piece of\u00c2\u00a0 fabric with a seam running around the edges of the table.\u00c2\u00a0 The corners of the table are rounded, so after the cover was finished, I flipped it wrong side out and stitched across the ends much like what you would do in a purse\/bag to create a bottom.<\/em><\/div>\n

The embroidery was done before the cover was\u00c2\u00a0 put together.\u00c2\u00a0 The monogram was created in Designer’s gallery Masterworks II, using the Brandley font.\u00c2\u00a0 The size recommendation for that font is no more than about 4 inches.\u00c2\u00a0 Since I sized it to 7 inches, I changed the fill from satin to smooth fill.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 It is so smooth, that coming down the stairs, guest have asked if it was applique.\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n
\u00c2\u00a0The bass on either side of the monogram is a design that is built in the\u00c2\u00a0 BabyLock Ellageo and Ellegante.<\/em><\/div>\n

I printed out the templates then positioned and marked the fabric before beginning, \u00c2\u00a0as the design took 3 hoops on my BabyLock BMP6.<\/em><\/div>\n

The best part was the smile on my husband’s face when he saw it, as most of the sewing around<\/em> here is for the grandbabies!<\/em><\/div>\n
