In hopes of\u00c2\u00a0piquing your interest,\u00c2\u00a0 I will tell you that I have some out-of-print classic heirloom books and patterns, antique lace, Swiss handlooms and embroideries, antique needlework magazines, wonderful baby blanks (matching onesies, bibs, caps and bath towel sets), Irish linen blanks, miles of heirloom laces and tatting, silk photo transfers (some Jenny Haskins), antique buttons, quality domestic trims and more.\u00c2\u00a0 Please do check them out.\u00c2\u00a0 I need the space in my sewing room!<\/p>\n
In\u00c2\u00a0two weeks I will be having total knee replacement, so the posts will be less frequent.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m in a frenzy,\u00c2\u00a0writing and photographing projects in anticipation of being out of pocket for approximately 3 weeks.\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0 I am\u00c2\u00a0adding a new\u00c2\u00a0article\u00c2\u00a0no more than every other day in order to have enough material to\u00c2\u00a0post regularly through my recuperation.\u00c2\u00a0 My goal is to\u00c2\u00a0have a backlog ready so I can post them from my laptop while at the rehab facility.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
For the past two weeks, I’ve been extraordinarily tied up with my sweet 88 year old childless aunt, who has always treated me like her daughter.\u00c2\u00a0 I love it and love her, so\u00c2\u00a0she has been the focus of my attention during this time period.\u00c2\u00a0 Fortunately, this coincided with the grandchildren’s trip out of state for\u00c2\u00a0a family gathering.\u00c2\u00a0 So at least I didn’t have homeschool responsibilities to juggle.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
Aunt Aileen has been hospitalized twice in this time period, with only a day between stays.\u00c2\u00a0 Between visiting her, keeping up with dr. reports, trying to get the folks at her assisted living facility to address her needs, updating the rest of the family and all the classes and appointments for\u00c2\u00a0my upcoming knee surgery,\u00c2\u00a0my blog\u00c2\u00a0posts have been\u00c2\u00a0less\u00c2\u00a0frequent\u00c2\u00a0than I would like.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
