This Saturday is another day of college football.\u00c2\u00a0 In earlier posts I’ve shared my Gator projects,\u00c2\u00a0but there are other teams out there with equally enthusiastically sewing fans.<\/p>\n

This little jumper made by Amy Spriggs really caught my eye.\u00c2\u00a0 In Florida, it is almost always too hot for polar fleece clothing, but in other areas of the country, this miracle fabric has a myriad of uses.\u00c2\u00a0 I just had never thought of polar fleece as a jumper fabric.\u00c2\u00a0 But isn’t this cute?\u00c2\u00a0 I can just see a little Bulldog fan with black leggings and a black long sleeved turtleneck shirt.<\/p>\n

Amy has used her embroidery machine to clearly identify her team.\u00c2\u00a0 But even without an embriodery machine, it is clear which team the wearer of this garment supports.\u00c2\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

One of the neatest things about this team gear is that it does not require a logo of any sort.\u00c2\u00a0 With the combination of team specific (or suggestive) fabric with the names of the school and the team name, this garment looks like it came right out of a sporting gear shop.\u00c2\u00a0 Amy’s sense of design balance\u00c2\u00a0is apparent\u00c2\u00a0with her choice of\u00c2\u00a0 open block letters in GEORGIA and satin stitched\u00c2\u00a0cursive Bulldogs.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

This time of year, both cottons and polar fleece can be found with NCAA and NFL team imprints.\u00c2\u00a0 You don’t have to make a jumper.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Simple pullover shirts in these prints would make\u00c2\u00a0loyal\u00c2\u00a0brother-sister outfits.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you are not a big football fan, you probably know someone near and dear who is.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0It’s not too early to start thinking about Christmas.\u00c2\u00a0 Meanwhile, it’s a good bet that some sweet little Bulldog fan will be wearing this tomorrow, regardless of the temperature.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
